Studio Ghibli 2026 24-Day Character Advent Calendar
The Studio Ghibli 2026 24-Day Character Advent Calendar brings characters and imagery from several beloved animated worlds together in a 24-day Christmas countdown.
Rather than focusing on a single film, the design combines recognizable figures such as Totoro, No-Face, Calcifer, and Howl’s moving castle within a snowy blue setting. This broader character approach gives the calendar particular appeal to collectors whose interest spans multiple Studio Ghibli stories rather than one title alone.
According to the supplied product information, the calendar contains 24 small acrylic ornaments inside a paper outer box with a moulded plastic inner tray.
A Winter Countdown Across Ghibli-Inspired Worlds
Studio Ghibli films are often associated with imaginative creatures, unusual fantasy settings, expressive characters, and carefully illustrated natural environments.
The calendar brings several of those recognizable visual elements into a winter presentation. Totoro introduces the woodland-fantasy side of the theme, while No-Face and Calcifer add characters with very different silhouettes and personalities. Howl’s moving castle provides another instantly recognizable fantasy element within the artwork.
The numbered windows keep the Advent-calendar format clear while the mixed-character presentation creates a broader celebration of Ghibli-inspired imagery.

Snowy Blue Character Artwork
The packaging uses a dark blue winter background with snow-inspired scenery and cream or yellow lettering for contrast.
Character artwork is arranged throughout the design rather than centered on a single protagonist. Totoro, No-Face, Calcifer, Howl’s moving castle, and other illustrated figures create visual variety across the presentation while maintaining the shared fantasy theme.
The cool blue palette also gives the calendar a distinctly wintry appearance without relying entirely on traditional red-and-green Christmas graphics.
Small Acrylic Character Ornaments
Each listed acrylic piece measures approximately 3.2 × 3.2 cm.
These pieces should be understood as flat acrylic ornaments with printed character artwork, not three-dimensional figurines or miniature character models.
Their small scale can suit Christmas trees, decorative branches, desks, shelves, garlands, or other indoor seasonal arrangements.
The supplied information states that hanging tabs are incorporated into the ornaments. Separate hooks, string, or ribbon have not been confirmed and should not be assumed to be included.
Compact Size for Character Displays
The complete calendar measures approximately 13.5 × 18 × 3 cm, giving it a relatively small footprint for a 24-day countdown.
It can be placed on a desk, bookshelf, mantel, entertainment unit, or other stable indoor surface during December.
For collectors who already display anime figures, books, prints, or movie memorabilia, the compact format can also make it easier to incorporate the calendar without rearranging a large amount of shelf space.
For Ghibli Fans and Seasonal Collectors
The mixed-character design may appeal to Studio Ghibli fans, anime collectors, fantasy-animation enthusiasts, or buyers who enjoy character-focused Christmas merchandise.
Because the artwork draws from several recognizable films, it may be especially relevant for someone whose collection already includes more than one Ghibli title.
As a gift, the calendar is most suitable when the recipient's interest in Studio Ghibli, anime, or collectible Advent calendars is already known.
Care and Storage
Keep the paper calendar and acrylic pieces indoors in a clean, dry location.
Handle the small hanging tabs carefully when arranging or storing the ornaments. Acrylic surfaces can be wiped gently with a soft, dry cloth if necessary.
If protective film is present on the received pieces, remove it carefully before final display. After the Christmas season, keeping the ornaments together with the original packaging may help prevent individual pieces from being misplaced.
